When in need of urgent help, we very well appreciate
the immediate financial assistance we can get. But is that really the help we
need?
Using the example of the cripple beside the beautiful
gate, I imagined him sitting there for many years and watching the people who
came by and gave him ‘stipend’ get better as the years went by because they
were being taught to 'fish' inside the temple and put in the position of strength; but would you blame them? He did
not ask right. It took someone who knew better to change his story forever.
