I’m sure many of us have heard about the incident with
Arik air that happened yesterday (26/9/13) but for those who haven’t let me
give you a brief recap.
Passengers of Arik air who were
going to Calabar from
Abuja could not land because the airport in Calabar was blocked by the
time they got there. Due to this reason they were brought back to Abuja.
I got the follow up of that story from a reliable
source that was on Arik flight W3521 from Abuja to Portharcourt today stating
that the Calabar passengers from yesterday were put on their flight to portharcourt
without prior informing them until they had all boarded.
As if that was not bad enough, on reaching Calabar to
drop them off, the aircraft refused to start and they had to wait about 2 hours
before the aircraft was finally fixed, that was when they eventually proceeded on their journey to portharcourt.
My
source also says some of the passengers were so upset and could not
wait so they continued their journey to portharcourt by road...poor them
*sad face*
